Printable Version »The Kangaroo Chair from Images of America was specifically designed to support Kangaroo care, a natural skin to skin bonding between a mother and her premature newborn. The Kangaroo is all about comfort, support and safety. Its wide back supports mother and baby as they turn side to side, and provides a sense of safety and comfort. The foot rest is actuated by an outside lever while the back, actuated by a recess finger pull, and the Kangaroo locks in all of its reclined positions so there are no sudden movements that could be startling. The Kangaroo Multi-Lock recliner features an independent footrest and back reclining motion that require a minimum effort to operate. The multipurpose Kangaroo Chair is also often seen in Oncology areas, as it provides the same comfort and support for patients undergoing long and arduous chemotherapy treatments.
